The New Mien Dong Bus Terminal Project is a large-scale transport and service complex, featuring a central bus terminal integrated with various supporting facilities. The project is developed on an area of over 16 hectares, approximately three times larger than the existing Mien Dong Bus Terminal, and is located in Ho Chi Minh City.

Upon operation, the terminal is expected to serve more than 7 million passengers annually across routes to the Southern, Central, and Northern regions. The average capacity is estimated at around 21,000 passengers per day with approximately 1,200 departures, and can reach up to 52,000 passengers per day with over 1,800 departures during peak periods such as holidays and Tet. In addition to the main terminal, the project integrates multiple facilities including multi-storey parking, maintenance and repair areas, fuel stations, logistics and cargo handling zones, as well as commercial and service areas.

Phase 1 of the project includes key components such as the central terminal building, bus parking areas, pick-up and drop-off zones, overall technical infrastructure systems, and a wastewater treatment plant, with a total investment of approximately VND 743 billion. The project contributes to the development of a modern transportation hub at the eastern gateway of the city.

The project is invested by Saigon Transportation Mechanical Corporation (SAMCO), with founding members of Mekong Engineering Partners providing project management and construction supervision services. The project was officially accepted and approved for completion by the State Authority for Construction Quality Inspection under the Ministry of Construction in September 2019.
